So a friend has a TO-30 and he picked up a rotary mower. He got an adapter to go from the TO-30 (which I believe is 1 1/8" pto) to the mower PTO (which I believe is 1 3/8"). Problem is that it seems too weak and just twists and gets destroyed. Is a 5' rotary mower to much to ask of a TO-30 or should he be looking someplace else? Most of the stuff he mows is less than 12" tall in a small orchard of his.
