The offer went from anything to someone to talk to (wife's job for wives having trouble dealing with the spouse being gone) to baby setting, giving kids old enough to hunt a place to hunt and the adult to be with if needed, general help with home repairs and auto repairs. I've never mentioned it because it was a simple thing to do to help out the families of local guys who were serving our nation. But maybe an idea for some of us on here who can do little things to help families of people of deployed soldiers.
