Didn't even think about it..usual 2 or 3 GM diesels, however, occasionally see one of NS's Heritage fleet,(locomotives painted up like those of the railroads that made up NS before the merger) Neat little railroad, mostly jet fuel for Seymour Johnson AFB, corn for hog farms, and phosphate from the TexasGulf mines down at Aurora. Eastern NC is a neat place, weather is good, short winter, little or no snow. Grow a lot of soybeans, sweet potatoes and tobacco.Not a lot of cattle, but lots of hogs, turkeys and chickens.
