After reading all your answers I am not sure what to do now this truck runs great pulls good for a 350 gas but to give you more info yes the heater dose work good and it is full of water/anitfreez. This surging curgling water noise thing with the gage deal JUST STARTED . I had the intake manifold gasket changed about 4 months ago was leaking water out. and then it was running a little warm thoght that a bit of chrud got in the therm. and the rad had a VERY SMALL drip so I added a small can of silver stop leak that worked and now this . you can feel the heater hose that goes to the heater and it surges also ---soooo Im thinking a bad therm. but why the no persure in the top rad hoseit should be hard as a rock when hot right
