I've gotten the regular stuff, coats,sweatshirts,hats,clocks,rain gauges,knives, mag light flash lights, walkie talkies, etc. One year the Dekalb seed company kept sending me stuff. I wasn't a customer of theirs but they sent me among other things a "pocket rocket" temp and wind speed meter that I still have and use. The most unique though was they sent me a box with a barely polinated corn ear and a nice corn ear that was fully filled out. In the bottom of the box was $2.33 and the enclosed paper stated something to the effect of " Dekalb makes you more money"....and average of $2.33 per something...something. Pocketed the $2 and still haven't bought Dekalb.

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
