The JD part number is JDE-80 and they are $17.95 at the local dealership I go to. The price can be different as the special tools do not have a list price nation wide. It is up to each dealership as to what markup they want. I usually buy about one each year. I have 3 or 4 of them between the shop and service truck. It seems like guys want their own after they see me use one. So I sell them one of mine and replace it.
The long extension and swivel works if the bolt has not been over tightened. You are at such an angle that you can not get much torque on the swivel.
The key to the factory wrench is the offset as well as the bend.
You want to see something crazy??? Right now there is a JDE-80 wrench for sale on Ebay. There are 6 bids and it is at $67.79 plus shipping. LMAO you can buy 3 wrenches for what they are bidding on this one.
