I got the shot the for the first time this year, darned arm itched for a month it seemed! Got a flu shot, did not get the flu, but got Mono ! Still dealing with that it seems, zaps the energy and motivation like nothing else, just getting over another bout of that today, which is a perfect sunny, still 60 deg F day.
I hear you on the kilt, just a tad bit drafty, cannot imagine allowing that much access to the local insects, that would be nuts wearing that attire at some times of the year !
There is something about the human body, when it wants something out, you really don't stand a chance of fighting it. I arrived just before 7AM on a job 2 1/2 hours south of here, and had the both ends at the same time, lept over a desk to the bathroom, our foreman had no idea, thankfully the office was an empty apartment and I had clothes for a week on hand, a place to change, clean up, it was so violent I tore adominal muscles, I thought I was going to die right there, out for over a week, flu or food poisoning or what the heck it was I will never know. I immediately left the job site and somehow drove the 60 miles south to the condo where I was living, these things you never forget, hope you shake it off soon !
