On Thursday I went to donate blood for these victims. The news said the donation center would open at 11:00 A.M. I arrived at 11:20 A.M. Tjere was around 500 folks already signed in, around 300 or so younger folks. Alot of them left around 12:30. I guess they were college students. I finally finished at 7:00 P.M. Other folks were streaming in all the time I was there.
There was hundreds of volunteers in West yesterday. I stayed home but will return Monday since some many of the ones there this weekend can't be there during the week.
It is very humbling to be there. I just want to share some of what God has blessed me with.
I live about 15 miles from West and have lots of friends there. I have made even more during this tragedy.
