Ya it does work well. I did an 8N ford a few years back to do the clutch and had it split in less then an hour all the way down to the clutch. Hung the engine and hung the rear end. Putting it back together was very easy with the chain hoists since you can move parts up and down just what is needed for them to slide back as they should.
