We have moved several being close to a army base here. Move them to be a little over 100,000 lb but no requirement to tarp. Actually this past spring we moved several from Ft Campbell Ky to the port at New Orleans. They were definitely not private all the hauling was paid for by good old uncle sam. Takes 13 axels and good insurance to get the bid here.
