Like GVS11 said, Sig is top of the line. Kimber is another very good gun. They are both expensive though. I own a Kimber custom carry 11 in a .45 acp. Awesome machine but I can't bring myself to carry it as they tend to get beat up (atleast around me). My main carry is a Glock 26 9mm sub compact. It's less then half the price of a Sig or Kimber but very reliable and I don't mind scuffs on it as it's not a pretty gun to start with. I would prefer a .40 or .45 but in that small frame Glock a 9mm is enough to hang onto.
