Hate to tell you but it will never get back to normal. A year is good figure for recovery but you will never be able to have all the movement you had before. Mine was done Jan 18, 2012 and can do most but I cannot reach up like before. Don't know how many they had to fix. A bit younger than you at 69 years. Was 9 months before they could take care of mine tho as I had a heart atack and 5 bypasses 2 months after I tore mine.
