When I think of how farming has changed in my lifetime (81 yrs) it is amazing. I started with horses and milking cows in the morning and plowing 60 acres with a two horse plow. Loved it when we got to the stone boat so I could ride instead of walk. Then in 1939 we got a tractor. Halleluja, and then another. Great day. Last month Addie Bender died at 99 . They were farmers and tractor dealers for Farmall in Copley, Ohio. When the second WW was over he took me along to the IH show in Chicago. I really miss those days on the farm.
