Last 4 or 5 springs tiny black p*ss ants try to invade our kitchen thru a sliding patio door. Have tried several sprays, etc. to dissuade them with limited sucess. Read about cinnamon on YT a few weeks ago, tried sprinkling it in the door tracks where they enter, worked great!! Nice part is it's out of the way, non-hazardous, no mess, smells good, and vacuums up easily after the invasion is over. Don't remember who posted about it, but thanks to them! Also have hills everywhere in lawn: large black/red ants-and numerous fire ants.
