When I worked for the BTO a few years ago, He bought grease by the pallet and I carried two grease guns, one with a hose and one with a straight pipe. He wanted everything the employee used greased every day. I used to grease at the end of the day when there was no dew on the ground. I used to check the front axle MFWD every time I got out of the tractor to see if the grease fitting was visible. He had a big rack full of barrels that were filled by the oil truck when needed and the hydraulic fluid in all of the tractors was changed every winter. I really liked that job. He tells me the job is still waiting for me but 1000 miles is not commuting distance. People ask me why I moved to NY, and I tell them "just plain stupid"
