Was finishing up harvesting small grain variety test and breeding plots about 20 years ago at Clemson U and I asked the two friends helping if that was the last plot. I was driving the combine. They said yes. I took off my straw hat I had worn all harvest and tossed it in the combine. It went through the cylinder and straw walkers and out the back. One of them picked it up and handed it back to me with very little damage and I put it back on my head. Got a good laugh out of that. Richard in NW SC
