You should have been here for the opener... there was still ice then! A cabin on a lake north of Eau Claire... would that be the Holcomb flowage? That's only 20 miles or so from me. From Leinenkugel's, you're close to Carsen Park. They have some ag and logging displays...not a lot of machinery, but interesting. There may also something at Irvine Park, but I can't remember. That's within walking distance of Leinenkugel's. There's some machinery at the Rusk Co. Historical Society (Rusk Co. fair grounds in Ladysmith), but not a big display. More there to see during the fair when they have a small show, inviting anyone who wants to bring in old tractors and equipment. There's also a collector in Ladysmith who has a shed full of restored plows, mainly JD and IH, but I can't think of his name right now.
