BIL bought one with the Ecoboost V6 - I was a little surprised I thought he'd be more interested in the 5.0 or the 6.2 V8s. He is 6.4 and his sons are as tall or taller and they still had plenty of room in the back seat of his crew cab. The mileage is way better than his older Chevy with the 5.3 but not quite what is advertised. With his set up he says he averages about 19 MPG with every tank of fuel. Long drives he gets better, lots of stop and go city driving it gets worse - not bad compared to the 12-13 MPG he got with his old Chevy.
My old F150 with a 302 averages 15-16 MPG per tank - but then its very light duty with the AOD transmission - nothing I'll ever tow much with.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen.
