I'm not really familiar with the application but maybe this will help. Your saying that the pin rollers run on the hardened ID of the gear. I don't know if it will help, but Rollway bearings can be had with removable inner and/or outer races. Below is a link to their site. If you go to the downloads you should be able to get a copy of their catalog with dimensions. With that info, if you can find one with an outer race with an ID compatible with what you need, you may be able to have the ID of the gear turned oversized and use one of the Rollway races, pressed in, to being it back to standard.
Like I said, I don't understand the application completely, but you might even be able to replace the 'pin rollers', that origionally rode on the gear, and use a complete bearing assembly instead.
