We're starting to see some ammo on the shelves of the big box stores here in Houston. I'm not buying into the conspiracy theories. I think that it's a supply shortage due to increased demand. Here In Houston we have multiple new gun ranges that are busy all the time. The gun ban fear that never came to pass didn't help. All the folks that bought guns are buying ammo to shoot in them. The black rifle folks figured out that they are too expensive to shoot so started buying AR lookalikes in .22lr. Thus the shortage of .22lr ammo. Those guys will shoot a thousand at a time.
