Not too far from the truth around here. My nosy neighbor called the drain commission and told them I was "eroding soil into a controlled waterway", those were the exact words, so I assume she had done a little research how to file a complaint.
I came home from work and found a drain commission truck sitting in my driveway. Couldnt find anyone anywhere. I finally see one of my dogs on point. The person had gotten out of her truck and walked over to the pond I was digging. She got into the pond before the dogs seen her. They went on point and would not let her out of the bottom of the pond. I had an 18 foot hole 200 foot across and she was standing at the bottom.
Needless to say she was very happy to see me. Dogs didnt do a thing other than not let her move. Two mastiffs 150 and 170 lbs. She was a "city" person and not real comfortable around dogs.
We had a short talk, every thing was fine. They had a talk with the neighbor. Same neighbor that called the cops saying people were running around with guns and tresspassing. We were hunting coyotes on our own property. Police were less than pleased when they came out that day with her. She is known as that neighbor in the community, board meetings, etc.
