All stories involving cats around here start with "against my better judgement".
I was talked into getting all 5 fixed. Believe it or not, I haven't chewed any up in a tractor and the coyotes haven't gotten any. We have had the same ones for years. Maybe it wasn't a mistake?! I think we were just lucky to end up with some that are careful and some that are too lazy to leave the shed.
I draw the line at hauling them to town for shots. The dogs get them, but no other "pets".
