Few year back a neighbor had some problems with them, got a few and decided to make use of them-- old country Pole and German recipes for rabbit, etc worked on main part of body, hides got tanned with fur on using a mink trap and skin method of salt, dry, light oil and some kind of tanning stuff left over from his buckskin coat project. His daughter got warm "chuck" cap for winter, couple others sold at a rendevous and the "brunswick stew" had requests for seconds.
