I have a 5020 that is leaking hydraulic oil out the inspection port on the clutch housing. The pto was also slipping. I have split the tractor at the engine and clutch housing and disassembled everything in the clutch housing and all bolts connecting the clutch housing to the transmissiion housing including snap rings on the input shaft and pto. I have tried to ease it apart but it seems to have something connecting it near the bottom at the pto valve. Ive been looking at the JD service manual I have but it doesnt show in detail enough that I can make out whats holding it. This is my first time spliting one of these tractors and im not a tractor mechanic, just trying to keep this one alive. Can anyone give me some advice. Thanks.
