I drained old coolant, been in there too many years on my White 2-105, then refilled with Amsoil coolant and water. Ran a couple days and the water pumped failed. I read directions on coolant jug and it states to drain your coolant, add water or flush detergent, run for 10 minutes with out cap on, drain, then add coolant. Gonna put on new pump today, should I follow the directions this time before I put new coolant back in? I know years ago when we power flushed the systems on my White and Massey 1105 the pumps promptly failed. Also, do I need to use distilled water?
