I had three neighbors that all bought Massey-Harris 22s at the same time in the early '50s. I put in several hours seat time on one of them. I really liked them, (of course being in my early teens at the time, I liked anything that you did not have to walk behind and hang on to the plow handles), but they had one serious design flaw, the frames were weak and would flex too much. As a result many of them would break in half.
