if it's carbon on the valves making them stick, Set the throttle about 1/4 to 1/2 & get a spray bottle of water. remove the air cleaner elbow at carb & spray into carb small amount of water, not too much to stall warm engine. The cool water will help breakup carbon. The engine might sound terrible but this is only carbon that has came loose & passing through the cylinder. It won't hurt the engine.. The Ford 240 & 300 were noted for this 7 I've used this method on many with about 80% success. Save's doing a valve job.... Might not hurt to install a valve seal on the stems if possible.
