Lou, I know how you feel, it makes you get bitter. But one thing I want to let you know is that there are thousands of animals in shelters on petfinder. You don"t have to go thru just the rescues. Also don"t forget most places even ship these dogs on safe transportation systems set up for this kind of thing. I just don"t want you to get turned off to this type of dog saving site. A lot of shelters down south get beautiful dogs and pups and they still gas them in very short amounts of time. I think a lot of the demands these rescues have are just in the interest of the animals because they know from experience that there are a lot of bad people out there. So please don"t take it personal. You"re a great animal person.
