I have Verizon, and they have a tower in one of our pastures. This spring, they started switching the tower over to 4g. About the time they started the switch, we lost service. I mean, I could be with in a mile of the tower, and couldn't get my phone to work. I started calling Verizon. After 6 calls, they told me I could switch carriers and they would wave the disconnect fee. I would have, but Verizon is the only chance I have of getting service at the house. (we used to be able to talk anywhere in the house) My last call to Verizon, I was MAD. I got to the 3rd level of their customer service, and started getting some answers. Turns out, when they were stinging the new cable, for the 4g, they broke 2 out of the 3 antennas. I now have fair service. My advice is start calling, and don't quit until they fix the problem.
