I got to the Central Wisconsin Steam and Gas Engine show in Edgar Wisconsin saturday. It was a good show, but the thing I was most impressed with was the shuttle from the handicaped parking lot to the grounds. Someone in the club designed and built it. It is a trailer. the box is big enough for a row of rear facing bus seats along the front and there is a row of inward facing seats along the left side. There is room enough on the right side for 3 wheelchairs or two scooters. The really slick thing about it is that the wheels and hitch are mounted on arms with hydraulic rams. When the driver wants to load or unload, he drops the whole thing to the ground, there is only a 4 inch step up with a built in ramp. when he is loaded, he picks it back up and goes. I hope it catches on.
