I am working on a custom water well rig to be run on the back of the tractor. I am not yet sure if the hydro system can be run off the tractor system or not though.
I need to run a hydro motor for my rotary drill, and another hydro motor for the lift system. I am not sure what pressure the 1170 operates at but I had some thought to use the remotes to operate these two functions.
I also had an idea to tap the hydro line going to the remote block which should be constant pressure and add a quick coupler there and add a valve block on my drill rig. There is a 5th remote connection on the tractor which I believe to be a "case drain" for a hydro motor in which should work well for a return line. However, if I need reverse, this will all need more thought.
IIRC, a hydro motor has two pressure ports plus the case drain, just like a hydro pump? Reverse would not technically be needed but unscrewing drill stem would be sweet with that.
