I took my JD 4230 radiator to a radiator shop to have it rotted out. I'd used the guy for years fixing rent-a-wrecks for the kids.
He said that the EPA shut him down. This was a small mom-pop operation and probably the EPA said he had to do this and that to comply with new rules and he didn't have the money to buy the equipment or just didn't want to.
So he washed out the fins and all best he could which really helped, but it didn't solve the problem. The sucker always ran hot when I needed it the most.....100 degree days, AC running and bailing hay.
