Here in IL, real estate taxes are NOT rebated. There is a special formula for farm land. Usually schools get between 55 and 70% of my taxes. This because teachers are like MONSATAN, they have tenure and unions as MONSATAN has tech fees and no planting of their seed(brown bag). Also teachers get a large boost of salary just before retiring to use to beef up the average in detirming their retirement pay. Not at all like social security. Isn't that special!!
