My nephew had a detached retina in 2011 and his doctor sent him to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and told him to go to their emergency entrance. He has no health insurance and only works part time. They had to do the surgery twice and he didn't pay a nickel. The doctors wanted to know if he lived with us and we told them he has his own home.
