I"m new to all of this. But I had a John Deere Model M tractor given to me handed down from a good neighbor because I used to ride and drive with him when I was a kid 30 some years ago. My question is the serial number plate has been taken off and I"m wondering if there is any other way to find out the year. I know they only made them from 1947 to 1952.Any help will be appreciated. My plans are to restore this beauty to it"s original state. Thanks
