Cole, the ecoboost makes 420lb. ft. of torque @ 2500rpm and makes 90% at 1700rpm, that's 380lb.ft. torque., most v-8s need at least 4000 rpm to make that kind of torque. I tow my 9500lb tractor on a gooseneck trailer and you never have to wind this engine out to do the job, and on a 2hr round trip towing this 9500lb. tractor it got 14.6 mpg. and empty this thing runs like a scalded dog, it is really fun to drive.
