Back in 1977 after farming with well used equipment I was able to buy new John Deere 4030. As I was working out of state week needed to pickup tractor, I asked my retired and ailing father if he could follow my 10 year old son home the 10 miles from dealer. My son had been riding with me since age 4 and driving himself since 8. Only near time of my fathers death did the secret between those 2 did the truth come out. Son drove the tractor out of small town and another couple of miles. Then at 10 he drove dad's pickup while dad drove new tractor. Yes now my own grandson and I have a couple of secrets his mother may or may not ever know. An old fart moved back to painful humid changeable weather and GRANDKIDS and loving it!!
