Bruce the fellow that got burnt here was kind of a lucky fellow that he even lived. He happened to be real close to a pond when he caught fire. So he ran into the pond. That put the fire out and cooled his burns.
Now the lucky part. There happened to be a guy fishing in that pond. That guy had EMT training. So he was able to keep the burnt fellow from drowning and start treatment on his burns. The Doctors told the burnt guy that of he had not gotten in the water he would not have lived. If the Fisherman had not been there he would have drown as he went into shock when he hit the water.
After that happened I never filled a gas tractor all the way up, even the lawn mowers.
