I have 3 grandkids living with me. 2 in 2nd grade and one in 5th. Most nights all have homework. Little guys do spelling review, math flash cards and reading. Takes about 15 minutes each for my participation. Older one has a question occasionally but usually does his without help.
All three have straight A's and very high test scores.
I really enjoy helping and watching them improve.
At this point in my life I can look back and wish that I has spent more time like that with my kids and older grandkids. Enjoy it now, they won't need you too much longer and you'll miss it.
