Its been my understanding that the bronco 11 had a narrower front and rear end than the rangers. And to replace the axels in the ranger, the whole front end has to come apart to remove a clip that holds the axel in. I replace that inner U joint where its at, remove the outer part, then using a small tip on the cutting torch, cut the star on two sides, and remove it. Wait till it cools, then remove the caps, and replace the joint, takes a little time, but lots faster than taking the whole thing apart.
