Edd, they don't get's checks from society. They don't get's checks "from the gov't" either because has no money of it's own. They get checks from taxpayers and that group is getting smaller and smaller and does not include all of our society. Only 63% percent of our working age population is even participating in the workforce. The so called 7.8% unemployment rate is really more 15-18% if you look at the U6 numbers that count people who have just given up looking. The plain fact is, we're in deep trouble and there's no easy way out.
