I feel for everyone involved in it and I thank god it missed me. I live maybe 150 miles northeast of Wayne and the storm just slid past me to the north. There was one farm building side that was leveled except for the house between Webb and Gillett Grove Ia, about 20 miles northeast of me. I don't know how much farther it went after that. According to the maps there were two tornado systems that came through and they divided and went around Sioux City. One went north of Sioux City and one went past the south sided of Sioux City. I'm thinking the one that went north of Sioux City was the one that hit Wayne. The one that went south came up in this area. Crops that are ready to be harvested are twisted up or destroyed for many, many miles. The TV was interviewing a young mother from Sloan, Ia, south of Sioux City who lost her home. She and her little girl lost her husband and dad two years ago and now she lost her home to the storm. Lots of sad stories. Jim
