It looks like there is a coil spring supporting the seat. Is the seat factory, an after market unit, or was it borrowed from an IH?
The seat, the rear tire pattern, and the above average paint on most of the tractor make it an interesting tractor. They all attest that it has been well cared for. I'd take it to some shows as-is for a few years and listen to the comments about it before even thinking about repainting it.
