I didn't see the topic the OP mentioned nor do I care.
My impressions of him are...
He'll help anyone he can. Then.....
He'll tell everyone he can about how he helped someone.
That never bothered me.....but he sometimes put others down, like the guys that buy stuff at auction for re-sale. He was quick to condemn them.
The worst was when a desirable tractor was sold to a farming operation in Mexico he said it was going to be run by illiterate beaners. That would have gotten him bounced off most forums.
No one is perfect. Like most, he posted some good info, and sometimes posted stuff he would have been better off not posting. Best of luck to him whether he returns or not.
It would benefit this site to have an ignore feature. That way if someone's posts bother you, you can put them on your ignore list and they become invisible to you.
