I paid 1180 including tax for my 300 at an auction in spring 2012. It had a stuck engine and stripped IPTO drive on the pressure plate, iffy tires and bad rims but it had all of the nice stuff, TA, IPTO and fast hitch, plus an extra hyd. remote. I fixed it up with a LOT of help from D Slater and others on the Farmall forum, have now performed the double split twice on it. It is a great tractor when it is working and it saved a lot of time haying this summer and skidding logs year round over my old H, which I had for a few years. What part of NY are you in? There is a 300 coming up for sale in Oneida County this Saturday and I will be there, but they do not have pictures of anything on the sale so I do not know what it has. If you are interested in it I will find the auction listing and post a link to it. Zach
