I have an 800 series (860 to be exact) that I finally got running lately, after it sat for 6 years - since the last owner died. When I went to use the 3point hitch, it wouldn"t work. Long story short - Where does the fluid go into the tractor for the hydraulic system? Is the fill hole the big plug under the seat, on the left side (when you are sitting on the tractor)? Also - what grade of hydraulic fluid does it require? As to transmission and rear-end fluid - is it standard gear lube -or some special Tractor lube? Any info on what weight to use would be greatly appreciated... I cannot wait to use this antique, as it is running like a well-oiled sewing machine... Thanks - in advance! I will be changing all the fluids tomorrow in the Hydraulic system and rear end and transmission...
