I always drove small pickups.Growing up my Dad had GMC's.6 cylinder 3 on the column no radio 2 wd base pickups and they were great.I always liked the looks of the ford Ranger and could borrow Dads GMC so thats what I mostly had.My wife likes Dodges and she drove a Caravan,Reliant Acclaim and Caliber.All burned more gas than the Ranger and they all had electrical issues as they aged except the Caliber that is only 6 years old.Almost a year ago my Ranger died so I bought my sons 2001 Dakota.The radio and cruise control only work when they want to and there is an electrical issue in the heater motor circuit under the dash somewhere.The real kicker is that since I started driving it I haven't had any pocket money.It all goes into the tank to feed that ridiculously thirsty 4.7 engine.No more Chryslers for me.
