Years ago when Dad pulled that 2-16's plow with the 51 A it pretty much was 2nd gear in the fall and 3rd gear in the spring. Today I was pulling that plow in 4th gear on the higher ground and third in the low black stuff. The plow was set as deep as it would go which was 7 inches. I'm still a little baffled about it. I don't think the soil pulled easier than before because the other tractors didn't seem to have any more power than normal. Anyway, if the wind wouldn't have been howling it would have been twice as much fun. Jim
