I found one website which said that these trucks were built between 1973 and 1975, with a total of only 261 being produced. I don't know just when this article was written, but at the time 105 to 110 were still known to exist,but it stated that many of them had been sitting out for so long that they were beyond repair. This being the case, the man told you right. It would be a rare truck.
