A good friend was brush hogging over the weekend and it threw something forward and into his forearm. Said he has never been shot, but it couldn't hurt worse than this. Part of hand went numb Saturday night. Doctor x-rayed it Monday morning and it is a piece of metal bigger than a BB but smaller than a 22 bullet. About 2 inches deep. Got tetanus shot and antibiotics and going back in a week. If it does not move, they may leave it alone. If it gets closer to the surface, they will take it out. I hog all the time. Any suggestions on a shield on the front of a hog to prevent this? I don't want chain on the front of my hog as the blades would always be hitting them. Richard in NW SC PS: He was not using my setup when this happened.
